Dept. of Interior Asks for Microsoft Cloud, Gets Lawsuit from Google Cloud

Google and Onix Network Corporation (of Ohio) have sued Uncle Sam, specifically the U.S. Department of the Interior, complaining of the department’s limited source RFQ that demands the Microsoft cloud for messaging and collaboration services.

The request for quote (RFQ No. 503786) specifies the Microsoft Business Productivity Suite – Federal (called BPOS-Federal, because you know our Government loves those acronyms).

By the way, BPOS is good enough for the City of Newark, so why not DOI?
